No. OpenDoor Virtual Medicine does not provide emergency or urgent care services. If you are experiencing chest pain, severe shortness of breath, stroke symptoms, severe bleeding, or any life-threatening condition, call 911 or seek immediate in-person care.

Telemedicine is well suited for medical advice, consultations, second opinions, medication review, test interpretation, follow-up questions, and care planning when an in-person exam is not required.

Care is provided by experienced, U.S. board-certified internal medicine physicians. All care is delivered within the scope of telemedicine and applicable state licensure requirements.

OpenDoor Virtual Medicine is a cash-based medical consultation service. We do not bill insurance. Transparent pricing is displayed before scheduling, and receipts may be available for personal records or potential reimbursement.

For clinical care, you must be physically located in a U.S. state where the physician is licensed at the time of the visit. Consultative or second-opinion services may be available internationally when legally permissible.

All visits are scheduled through our secure patient portal. From there, you can choose your visit type, appointment time, complete intake forms, upload documents, and submit payment.

Yes. This website does not collect medical information. All clinical communication and records are handled through a secure, HIPAA-compliant electronic medical record and patient portal.

Yes. Relevant records, lab results, and imaging reports can be securely uploaded through the patient portal prior to or during your visit.

If virtual care is not appropriate, we will advise you accordingly and recommend timely in-person evaluation or referral to the appropriate specialist.

With patient consent, family members or caregivers may participate in the visit when appropriate.

Appointments can be canceled or rescheduled through the secure patient portal. Cancellation and no-show policies are displayed at the time of scheduling.
